What is it about this type of person?
I read this verse last night while laying in bed and it kind of struck me. Why is it a person can go out on their own and do things that is their own foolishness and then in the end blame it on God?
I have seen this so many times, as though God is just their to give them their 3 wishes, like a genie in a bottle, but that isn't what God is like. He guides us like a father would a child and helps us become who we ought to be. Sometimes a child can defy their parent, they think they know what is best for them when we as parents know better. We trust that in the end that the child will see that the parent loved and cared about them and was only looking out for their best. However, sometimes kids don't listen and run into trouble anyway, but if they do this and then turn around and blame the parent for what they've done we as adults look at each other and say, "oh it's just because they are just immature children."
But we as adults can be just like those children when it comes to the things of the Lord.
