Genesis 8:1-12 ASV

A lot of times in life we get ourselves into some unbelievable situations, good or bad. We mostly ask God to get us out when they are bad. The problem is that after we ask for his help we then look to make it happen ourselves or we think that he is not working on our behalf because it seems that his rescue isn't coming on our time. God is never late. The waters are the trials in our lives and the ark + Noah is us. Although he couldn't see that the waters were recessing they were. He sent out a raven, in our case this could be stepping out on faith and making a move for what ever it is you are believing for, the raven came back. He wasn't discouraged because it didn't work. He continued to believe. So he continued to send it out or step out until finally he succeeded. Don't give up waiting for God because his ways are not our ways. He will bring everything within its proper time. You may not be able to see it, but your waters are recessing.
