In no way is what Absolon did to his father or his Lord right, it was pure sin. However, this verse shows that David was attacked at his point of weakness. Satan ALWAYS attacks us at our point of weakness. In this case, apparently David was not a good delegator. This can be a deadly weakness for leaders, and it was almost deadly for the "Man after God's own Heart" God's heart is effective delegation, and modern leadership methods are patterned after the Lord. For example, Although God created heavens, and the earth, he delegated the care of it to man kind (Gen 1:26-28). We also saw this same weakness in Moses (Exodus 18:14-18)
