"For I know the plans I have for you. . ." Jeremiah 29:11. This is one of the most often quoted, feel-good verses in the Bible. And for good reason. But rarely do we pay attention to what follows. "Call upon me and pray to me and I will listen. You'll find me WHEN you search for me w/ ALL of your heart."
If we truly want to know God and his plans for us, it requires work on our part. Things won't just fall in our lap because we "believe." We have to devote everything we are - all our heart - to our relationship with God.
