God does not cause us to sin
In the Predestination Vs. Free Will debate, people sometimes forget that God does not want us to sin. Sin not only separates us from God, but hurts us with consequences caused by that sin. “[N]or had it entered My mind that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin" (Jer 32:35). Here God says to Jeremiah that he does not cause his people, his children, to sin. It didn't even cross his vast, infinite, all-knowing mind! God loves his children, and he does not want to see them suffer unless there are no other options.
