Stranger In A Strange Crowd
Standing in a crowd of strangers
I will raise my voice
Telling all of Your wonders
They will soon rejoice
Of those who turn and mock You daily
You've removed their name
And torn the roots up from the cities
That choke and create pain
But You protect the weak and poor
Those the world detests
The Lord abides forevermore
And saves those who seek His rest
The jailer shut the prison door
And I was surely through
But our Messiah took the blame
And served our sentence too
Standing in a crowd of strangers
I will now proclaim
"God saved me from a certain death"
"He offers you the same"
I will raise my voice
Telling all of Your wonders
They will soon rejoice
Of those who turn and mock You daily
You've removed their name
And torn the roots up from the cities
That choke and create pain
But You protect the weak and poor
Those the world detests
The Lord abides forevermore
And saves those who seek His rest
The jailer shut the prison door
And I was surely through
But our Messiah took the blame
And served our sentence too
Standing in a crowd of strangers
I will now proclaim
"God saved me from a certain death"
"He offers you the same"
