The doctrine of perseverance shows itself here in this verse. Obviously the LORD is the one who keeps us, sustains us and guards us. I am in Him and He is in me and I have His protection and He preserves His saints forever. Not only am I preserved but I have great joy to go along with it, after all, Jesus is the most satisfying Person in the Universe!
