This verse is helpful to me when I am trying to love the unlovable. I'm reminded at how Jesus loves me the most when I'm unlovable. If he can love me at my worst, it motivates me to be more like him. Many times the people who treat us the worst need the most love, understanding, and kindness from us. This is hardest to do with the people we're closest to. Reading this verse every day for a week is like a hurt venom antibody.
