"We’re the best of friends, and I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good health—that your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul!" - John

The Bible teaches a law of progressive increase as opposed to get-rich-quick schemes. It states that as we put the Word of God into our lives, mixing it with faith, we will make progress and have increase.

In other words, the revelation and increase we have, come from the Word of God. If we want more revelation and increase, we must work on our spirit man. By training our minds, wills and emotions with the Word of God, we strengthen our souls. Health in our bodies and prosperity (the ability to financially fulfill our purpose) are by-products of inward revelation.

Men value a strong work ethic. We also value taking care of ourselves physically. But we should also build up ourselves in our faith. This is important because most men put very little effort toward developing their spiritual muscles.

How to Grow Your Spiritual Muscles:

1. When you read the Word of God look for Precepts (an immutable law of God). The Laws of God are unchanging in nature. They're established, trustworthy, and fixed. For an example, the Bible says, "Do not muzzle the ox while he is treading out the grain." That is an agrarian law that God established for proper treatment of domesticated animals.

2. Discern the principle that this Precept is teaching. The principle of our Precept is that those who work should draw their substance from their work.

3. Put into practice this principle. The Apostle Paul used this scripture to teach that ministers should draw their income from the income and support of their ministry. This application proves the universality of God's immutable laws.
