It is the sufferings we endure that makes us worthy of the kingdom, because we are showing that the kingdom is worth suffering for. Whatever we are willing to suffer for reveals the worth of that thing. This should be a firm attitude adjuster when we face persecution or scorn because of our faith in Christ and rejoice when we are honored to suffer for him. (Matthew 5:9-10)
