Man does have dominion, not co-existence, with all of creation. This right was given to him by God. But with any right comes responsibility. We should do our best to care for our environment, but we must have our priorities straight. When abortion is legal, but destroying an eagle's egg is not, then we definitely have our priorities mixed up.
