Funny how things started out well. They always do - we start sinning and it's fun for a while - but then the impact hits later.

So they were forced to throw stuff off the boat, and went without food for a while until Paul finally said, "I told you so."

He then explains that he saw an angel and that the instructions were plain and simple. Run the boat aground on a specific island and no one would perish. The Romans almost challenged this by setting anchor, but then thought better of it and ran the ship aground as Paul had suggested. Because of this all were saved.

All I can say is sometimes God's ways are not our ways. Our plans seem so solid but end in ruin.

Oh to hear the voice of God and be able to steer clear of danger in life.
