Life through the Son
"God gave us eternal life; the life is in his Son. So, whoever has the Son, has life; whoever rejects the Son, rejects life."
Everyone wants to live longer, happier, fuller lives. The unconvinced person may read these verses as somewhat condescending. However, nothing could be further from the truth or make your heart beat any faster! We have eternal life through the Son, and the Son living in us gives us that life - that fresh air that you can't breathe into your lungs from any other source! The unconvinced person might say that they already have life now... that it's "their" life to do with what they want. But in reality, the choice is so clear to us that there isn't even a choice!
How can we convey this message to an unconvinced world? What did it take for you to accept and believe in the life given only through the Son?
