The Wedding of Cana
It amazed me that Jesus took the time to go to that wedding. He is the son of God and was on the greatest mission on earth and went to the wedding of normal people. He just wanted to be with people. A part of his mission was just to hang out with people. It shows us that we have to include Jesus in work and pleasure. Don´t leave Jesus at home, because you are not in the mood of talking about him. Often we can accomplish our mission by just spending time with others and acting the way Jesus would want you to all the time. We can´t take off from Jesus because he is with us all the time no matter where we are or what we are doing! Don´t forget that.
When Mary tells Jesus that there is no more wine, it seems that she doesn´t expect him to do a miracle. Maybe she just wanted him to help to look for more wine. But he did something even greater. Mary gave him the opportunity to solve the problem. We have to do the same. When we ask God to do something in our life we have to give him the opportunity to solve our problem his way. His Solutions will be even greater than we could ever imagine. Trust God and he will answer your prayers and change your life!
Jesus=Wine
Like the wine was the best our life will be the best with Jesus. When we believe in him we will be so filled with love and life that we could never imagine to live without him again. many people only turn to Jesus as their last opportunity, because before they think that he is dull and lifeless. Why should we wait until else runs out before trying God. Why save the best until last.
Jesus is amazing. Since I surrendered myself to Jesus I feel so loved and so full of life that I could not imagine to life without him ever again. I love him with all my heart and I know he loves me back.
