I'm currently reading through "The Search For Significance" by Robert S. McGee. At my church - Granger Community Church (GCC) - we are currently working through a series called Making Love...Last. This is a familiar passage in 1 Corinthians, applied to marriage and recited at many a weddings, but I love that McGee is using this scripture in context to how we seek our significance on a personal, self-reflecting level. As you read these verses, replace the word "Love" with the words "My Father" (as well as "it" with "him" and so forth). I think it could change your perception of God, but I hope it will move you closer to Him as well.
