I can’t remember more “change” in a short amount of time as we have had in the last few months. Frankly, I am more convinced as ever that FivestarMan must become a movement of men speaking up for authentic manhood. The deterioration of manhood is embarrassing. Our culture has replaced the role model of the strong, wise, and dignified male with an effeminate, metro-sexual pretty boy decorating the dominate woman’s house. We have beer grunting buffoons as the leading example of the man in the sitcom.

We must wake-up, shake off those things that easily entangle us, press toward a higher calling. We need to drop the weight that bogs us down (literally and figuratively). We need to educate our minds by reading. Come on guys! Leaders are readers. We need to raise our hands to the Lord and pledge our faithfulness to Him. We also must renew our commitment to our wives, respecting her in our intimacies, blessing her with our words, and securing her with our integrity.

FivestarMan is a movement with the goal of raising up 1 million men who live a passionate life through:

1. The Adventurous Spirit - You are called to the field of contest. You are conditioned for the battle. Ready for the risk. Shake off your boredom. Boredom leads to carnality. Most men who commit adultery do so not for relationship but for risk.

2. The Entrepreneurial Drive – Men are driven to succeed. Within our DNA is a code of increase. The very first words that the Creator spoke over his created image, Mankind, was “be fruitful and increase.” Don’t allow the propaganda of the economy to rob you of your increase. The Bible is filled with examples of those who in the midst of economic disaster fulfilled their purposes by their entrepreneurial drive.

3. Gallant in Relationships - There is a sense of dignity that comes with treating your relationships with honor. When you show respect and honor toward your wife, it’s attractive, envious, and blessed. Don’t lower yourself and shame yourself by dishonoring your wife. The earth quakes when a wife is unloved by her husband. It is time that we wake-up. It is NOT flippant matter to God when we treat our wives with dishonor!

4. Faithful in Character. The day of reckoning on those who cheat and steal in their business dealings is at hand. Scammers and schemers are falling by the wayside, making room for those who know how to do business with integrity. It is time that men live up to the higher calling of God.

5. Legendary in our Cause. To be Philanthropic means that you invest your time, talents, and energies on the behalf of something of significance. That we live beyond ourselves. Let me also make this point. Solomon said, “A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children.” In other words, we should establish our families with a “trust” of resources that will enable them to go further in fulfilling their purpose.
