I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Thought: Paul wanted to know Christ beyond anything else.

Application: I want to have this same passion that Paul had. I want to know Christ beyond anything else. I want to experience His power in my life. I want to experience His presence in my life. In order to have this, I must make spending time with God my number one priority. I must also spend time throughout my day with Christ - it shouldn't just be in the morning. I need my thoughts to be focused on Christ all day long.
