The Purpose of Proverbs
The purpose of Proverbs is to instruct me in wisdom. To help me live a disciplined lifestyle. To give Glory to God. Proverbs also has to be digested daily. It instructs me daily in Wisdom. Wisdom is not silent but loud!
Just when I think all is quiet here comes Wisdom yelling and screaming. What in the world is going on? Wisdom is very disruptive. Wisdom wants its own way. Finally I give in to Wisdom but it is to my benefit and advantage.
