Thought: Those who are enemies of the cross are self-focused and hedonistic. They focus on things that are temporal and their destiny is destruction. But those who are true believers should not be focused on these things and their destiny is heaven.
Application: It is so easy to focus on temporal things. It is so easy to allow these things to steal my joy. I need to focus on things that have eternal value - things that will bring glory to God and not myself.
