I drove my daughter to school today. A rare experience. We picked up Starbucks on the way. Gave her good friend, Lea a ride.

As we drove, Courtney shared with me that over 150 students were sent home because of H1N1. I immediately said, "Let's put on the armor of God." We then, along with her friend, confessed Ephesians 6:14, "Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions."

As a FivestarMan, we must operate spiritual authority over demonic attack. We have an invisible enemy that we must resist. This is no time for cowardice, be strong and know your place in the protocol of authority.

1. Control the amount of negative news that invades your home. I recently made a decision to only allow myself a few minutes of news talk, either radio or television. I found myself agitated, angry, and combative after hearing of the foolishness that is going on. I can't correct this world system but I can control my world system.

2. Any uncontested enemy will win. Don't allow strife, depression, sickness, or offense to invade the atmosphere of your home.

3. Create an atmosphere of faith. I travel each week. When I enter a hotel room, I create the atmosphere that I am comfortable in. I turn on praise music or sermons from podcasts. If available, I find the local Christian television to have on. I lift my hands and worship God.

4. Build yourself up in the Word. After I dropped Courtney and Lea off at school, I called my wife and instructed her to find some scripture for us to harm ourselves against the H1N1 virus. We choose Psalm 91.

Psalm 91:1 and Ephesians 6:14
