Lord, fit your plan around my busy schedule!
I love the idea of "seeker friendly services". If they work for you then praise God. However, this verse shows us that Jesus came to do the seeking. To find the most needy, seek them out, reach out to them and save them. Thinking on that for a while can change our perspective.
A common prayer of mine is "Lord, please provide opportunities today for me to share my faith". God is faithful and answers this in wonderful ways. However, what I am really asking is "God I have a plan for how my day should go. Could you engineer those who are lost to bump into me and start a conversation that I can respond by sharing you with them". After all God must know i have a lot things planned for today!
Jesus came to seek out the lost and I feel he is calling me (and maybe you) to do the same. What if purposefully went out of my way tomorrow to seek for opportunities to share my faith. To seek for people who need him and help them see Jesus. In the words of a famous preacher "if you want to reach the people that no-one is reaching you have got to go where no-one is going". It will change your prayer life!
