"it is a faithful thing you do in all your efforts for these brothers, strangers as they are," - Whenever possible, we should be seeking to bless those who are doing the work of God, even when we don't know them very well. This is a representation of the faithfulness of God, a way that God is being faithful to them through us.

"who testified to your love before the church." - This type of hospitality is noteworthy and will not be forgotten. Obviously, we should not show hospitality for the purpose of getting human accolades. We should, however, be quick to publicly encourage those who show us hospitality.

"You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God."- What is a manner worthy of God? Those who stay with you should be sent off with energy and encouragement to
