I have been studying Jesus and His sacrifice. Recently I have been bombarded with young people who have turned away from the church because of the religiousity vs the teaching of Christ. There are people who have left church because someone told them they didnt look right, or they didnt dress correctly. Some people have left the church because they saw the leadership doing things contrary to what thy were teaching. Pastors sleeping around. Ministers wanting to sit in the pulpit but not serve. Ushers using foul language. Musicians sleeping with the Worship leaders. Chaos in the church! The world looks at our churches and sees no difference! It's time for us as believers to introduce The Real Jesus.
The Jesus who changes lives! Jesus who LIVED just to DIE FOR US! Jesus who heals sick, raises the dead. Jesus who is the homerun hitter, the ace running back, the one you always want to have the ball when the game is on the line. The REAL JESUS who washes His followers feet and allows someone who hHe knows will betray Him, to be a part of His inner circle anyway. The Real Jesus who no matter our mistakes- affords us the opportunity to LIVE.
