Psalm 144:9 NIV84

Every day, every week, every series, my assignment is to try to write something new, something fresh that will breathe into people and move them forward in their walk with Christ. For the first few months of this second career I started two years ago, I felt a tremendous amount of pressure. How can I create anything new? Everything's been done. Everything's been said. It's a drop in the ocean of information these people are flooded with everyday. How can I show them Jesus in a new way that captures their attention and cuts through the noise to elicit a double take, a pause to really lean in and listen. That's when I stopped to listen, and felt the Holy Spirit whisper..."Chill, I got this!" I know, it doesn't sound very biblical..maybe it was "Thou shalt calmeth thy neurotic spirit, I shall provideth the words for thee"...personally I heard it more like the first way.....
