Excel
I want to excel in my work. Father, I want to please you with the work that I do. I know that I sometimes have an attitude which indicates otherwise but I really want to be someone who excels at the work you have given me.
Lord, help me to keep the goal in mind. Help me to see that I'm working for you and no man. Help me to understand that even when I'm standing before kings that it's You who's audience I seek. Please, Lord, don't let me be distracted by the things of this World. Give me strength to keep you in my focus.
Also, Lord, help me lead my family with the same attitude. I want to work hard and excel at leading my family. Lord, I want to stand before you as King and have you let me know that I excelled in leading my family.
