When I read Colossians 3, I am convicted by past failings and hopeful of future victories in Christ. God's mercies are new every morning:
"Lamentations 3: 22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. 23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. 24 I say to myself, "The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!"
How thankful I am that truth is alive for me today.
Dear Friend, whatever your past failings are - God is faithful to cleanse and renew you today. Talk to Him now - He has a beautiful purpose for your life - out of the ashes He brings HIs glorious beauty. Know He loves you. May we live the new life!

"Colossians 3:1 Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God's right hand. 2 Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. 3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 And when Christ, who is yours life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory."
