On Sept. 19, 2009, Susan Powers spoke at the Fairgrounds Road Church of Christ Ladies Day and gave a wonderful lesson on walking worthy or "liv[ing] a life worthy of the Lord" (v. 10). In her lesson she stated, and I would like to repeat, that the only way to walk worthy of the Lord is to have Christ buried deep, deep, deep within our hearts. I thought this was an incredible insight because so many times, I forget that without Jesus, I am not worthy! But thanks be to God that he sent his son for us so that through his life and his death, we can be worthy and be called Sons (and daughters;) of God. He died so that we could have LIFE!! (John 3:16, I John 3:16)
