The Creation of Time
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth..." There is so much to learn, even from this one simple verse. In order to understand the very nature of God we have to understand this verse. Most people will read this passage and assume the first order of God’s creation were the heavens... but on the contrary, if you take a closer look you will notice there was a beginning and that beginning was also created by God. Time was the first order of God’s creation, thus revealing the nature of God who is separate from the constraints of Time. If God be separate from the dimension of time then he has no beginning and no end, he is not bound by creation but has always existed. If God has always existed than there is nothing greater than our Lord, he is sovereign over every life form and every molecule and all life existent, both visible and invisible, is held together by Him... therefore, He deserves the worship of every creature in the universe. To hold anything more dear to our hearts than God, would be considered blasphemy and idolatry.
Colossians 1:16-20
"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say , whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven."
