Sin flips the kill switch on life and potential. When I am dead in my sins my relationships suffer. Sin makes someone who was to influence the world and puts them in survival mode. Sin separates us from our communion with God. We are banished from His presence. Our sin habits enslave us. God made us alive in Christ. We are raised with Christ in victory. Freedom is in Christ. Christ killed my sinful nature. The Cross was my Kill Switch for my sins. What does it mean that Christ cancelled the written code that stood in opposition to us. Jesus flipped the kill switch. The Cross is not a crutch for our defeats but it is a Trophy of Victory. It is a instrument of Victory. We are no longer a slave to our sins. Christ nailed it.
