The Commandments or God's Word give us direction that keeps people out of so many problems. I don't know how many foolish thing I have done which might have been prevent if I had only known and remembered what God teaches in His word. The commandments are not just rules "not to be broken" but they keep the evil and death of the world outside at bay.
