Forsaken
I feel like God's questions to Israel in these two verses are ones that he probably ends up asking me a lot. What has he done to me, that I would forsake my love for him and go after other things? I have a tendency to wander. I get distracted by the newest thing in my life that I forget the faithful love of God. I forget how great, loving, kind, and caring God is. I forget his faithfulness. It's easy to point the finger at Israel, but in my own way, I'm a part of Israel too.
