God has the ability to withdraw His Presence from us when we fail to repent of sin ( or when we willfully continue in sin). David pleads for God not to withdraw from him. The relentless pursuit of who God has made me to be is achieved only by walking in the presence of God. Paraphrasing Moses, " If Your Presence doesn't go before me, I don't want to go!"
