If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations--21 Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch22 (referring to things that all perish as they are used)--according to human precepts and teachings?

This Scripture is so timely for me. There are some things I have handled, tasted and touched that I should not have. These things have gotten into my Spirit and now they must come out. I am in Christ and because I am the Word says I am not to act as if I am still alive to the world (my flesh). Christ has given me a re-created Spirit that has complete dominance over my flesh but if I am acting as if Christ has done nothing then I make Him to be liar which He is definitely not.
