Spiritual Growth
This is an Extract taken from "God is not fair- Coming to terms with life's Raw Deals" by Joel A. Freeman.
"As humans, we are fragile creatures-always one hair's breadth away from insanity. Yet at the same time it is a paradox, because we are a stubborn, rebellious lot. Each new level of growth seems to be accompanied by much weeping and gnashing of teeth. We artfulyy plant our heels in the dirt, trying desperately to maintain the comfort zones we have so diligently established. At such times God brings in the demolition experts. He permits certain trials that gently blast us into the next spiritual zip code. We despise these afflictions and view them as nasty, uncalled-for pests (life fleas), but much later we say "You know what? I now thicnk I can understand why that had to happen. It was necessary and above all it was good for me. I'm much better because of it"
