Young
What does youth bring to the table? Energy, simple faith, challenge to us "old" people, new ideas, etc! Here we see that being young is not a bad thing, but a state to be used to be an example to the believers. As "mature" believers, we settle into our spiritual routine, happy with the way things are, not ready for the challenge of "youth." Do you suppose that this teaching in Timothy applies not only to those who have had fewer birthdays, but to those who are young in the faith? Do the young in faith have great input to offer, DO they live lives worthy of looking at as examples, ARE we to accept them before they have "proven" themselves, and "matured?"
Just a thought!
