Let’s consider joy. Joy comes from a relationship, with our Savior. We see in John 15:11 that Jesus told His disciples what a true believer does so that “your joy may be made full”. To stay in the body. And to bear fruit. Joy overflows from a pursuit of God. See Luke 10:21 where Jesus rejoices because of God’s work being done. Here His joy overflows in to praise of God. That should be the proper result of joy. Joy is fulfilled, consummated, in expression.
