Micah 6
The people of God had gone against Him and had built pagan altars and had sacrificed to false gods. Now God is proclaiming the judgment to come against them.
The people had been lead astray and had turned to false gods and had forgotten about their Father, the one true God. Even though God loves them and continually tried to get them to turn from their wicked ways, the would not listen and now judgment was to come.
God is a loving God and does not want to see His children suffer, but He also is a just God and a fair God, and when we continually turn our backs on Him and fail to listen to His warnings, He has to act.
May we learn from the mistakes that God's people made in the past. We must be just, merciful and humble in our dealings with our fellow man.
