A citizen is someone who has all the rights and protection assured them by their country. Philippians 3:20 - 21 tell us that we are citizens of heaven. Therefore, as Believers in Jesus Christ we have all the rights and protection heaven has to offer. More importantly than this, we are Ambassadors for Christ - this means we have DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY from the laws of this world. We are not held accountable to the laws of sin and death. We live by the law of liberty.

In other words, we don't have to live by the world's rules anymore!
