"4 The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him"(NIV)

For me reading this scripture tonight...it kind of comes as a shock. Being a child of the reformation and the emphasis on grace and forgiveness...this verse also puts the other side on the board. Of course the Pharisee in me wants to say :"How many Christians are quilty of this verse?" But then I need to look in the mirror and see myself quilty of this verse. Do I really know Jesus as the verse says?
