We do intimacy in reverse
We do iontimacy in reverse of the way God intended it. We "discover" our need for it when we leave home (college, 1st job, etc.) and realize how much "home" means to us. I believe :homesickness" is the natural response of every Christian to our heart's longing for God - the "I Am With You Always - and the original relationship Adam and Eve enjoyed before sin.
He knows us? No surprise. Are we aware of Him? Our intimate need and whole satisfaction - we do it best in friendships and relationships when we master it with God Himself (not the reverse) - why not work on that first?!
