17 For this reason I am sending to you Timothy, my son whom I love, who is faithful in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which agrees with what I teach everywhere in every church.
For this verse speaks of Integrity. Paul's teaching and his life were the same. His way of life confirmed what he was teaching. Paul had the confidence to say : "Watch my life". Was Paul doing it in His own strength? The verse says "my way of life IN CHRIST JESUS". Through Jesus Paul was able to live the christian life.
My desire is to have this kind of christian life. My teaching and my life goes together. Mistakes are part of the game. May my life be a witness of Christ's forgiveness, God's grace and living through the power of the Holy Spirit.
