God has answered a specific prayer. It was not the answer I thought it would be - but God knows me well. He knew exactly how to answer my prayer, knowing His way would be the best for me now. And as I look deeper, even the seemingly unanswered prayers of today, are His answer. "Wait on Me", He says.
Waiting is part of the answer. All the while, He is protecting and rescuing me - many times from myself.
The Lord says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation." Psalm 91:14-16
Dear Friend, Are you waiting for God to answer your prayers? Are you wondering if He has abandon you?
Take heart and believe and trust God that He is answering your prayers; even though right now you can see or perhaps, even feel His presence. He is the "I am". Tonight, I pray before we sleep, God wraps His arms around you and I. I pray we hear His gentle voice telling us the words of Psalm 91. What God promises - He delivers! " His faithful promises are your armor and protection." Psalm 91:4b
