Peace in the Worst of Times
Stephen saw the glory of God - as a result not only could he forgive those who were killing him, he fell asleep while they were doing so!
We continually hear of people losing sleep because of troubles in their lives, whether that be relational, financial, or the stresses of work. Yet, when we see the glory of God, everything else can be seen in proper perspective. As a result, we can live with grace and sleep peacefully through the worst of storms.
God, in our troubled times, we desperately need to see your glory! When we do, we can have complete peace no matter what.
