Acts 8:3-4 TNIV

This was a time in the life of the early church were persecution was taking place and Saul (Paul) was attempting to destroy the church that Jesus gave His life for. But what those who were trying to stop the church by scattering them didn’t realize was that they were actually helping the gospel get further. The more they spread out the more the gospel got out into the known world. This scripture reminds me of where God has scattered me. What do I live where I live or why did I go through some of the things I went through? It reminds me that I am where and am and who I am for the sake of the gospel. The people I know the places I visit the neighbors I have are all places that God has intentionally placed me so that I may tell others about the good news of Jesus Christ. God help me today to recognize where you have placed me and why.
