WOW i love this, how much more wrong and awful things could one person do? People gasp when they hear about Moses killing a man, but this guy,Manasseh built sex shrines, worshiped the stars, practiced witchcraft, consulted evil spirits, BURNED HIS OWN SONS, and that's not even the complete list. BUT, he cried out to God when he knew he was in big trouble,(i mean the guy had a hook through his nose, and was being dragged to another place) —total repentance before the God of his ancestors.vs 13.As he prayed, God was touched; God listened and brought him back to Jerusalem as king. i am blown away by Gods grace and compassion. I mean, God was touched by this guy! Why do we hold ourselves back from God when we know we are doing things wrong? Like that song says, "if grace is an ocean, we're all sinking" I will always remember this story. I'm not going to try to ignore God, or hide from him when I'm struggling with sin. If God can be touched by a guy that burned his own sons, I'm pretty sure I can bless God somehow today.
