This will be strange for me to do with strangers, even christians I don't know. For me this verse gets meaning as soon as you enter into relationships with other believers. If you don't know someone it becomes harder to identify with that person and his struggles or happiness.
This verse was given in the context of people who knew each other. When was the last time you were happy because somebody else was happy?
We really need to put effort in our relationships with people or friends to understand their struggles or reason for happiness.
When you look into the mirror (spiritually), do you see yourself or do you see others?
How often do you think of your friends and their problems?
