What are my talents?
I have read or heard this parable hundreds, if not thousands, of times. Each time I read it, I continue to ask myself - What are my talents?
In the parable, talents are very tangible - you can see them, put your hands on them and you know what you can do with them. Doesn't anyone see the irony of the word 'talents', when used to describe an amount of money?
Often times, we do not see our own talents, while to others, they are quite obvious. In the midst of your day today, be sure to point out someone's talents to them and help them make use of their talents.
