when I was called
As Paul stood before the King who had the power to do with Paul wanted he wanted; Paul stood true to what he believed and to who called him. He knew that on that day when Jesus revealed himself on that road to Damascus, God completely changed his life and gave him a new purpose and direction for what He wanted Paul to now do. I love that fact that when Paul was asked why he is doing what he is doing he always refers back to the time God called him. This was a staple a life changing time that Paul will forever look back to as a reason for his focus in his life and calling.
This is something to apply to my life today for sure as I can’t honestly say that when I am facing doubts and discouragement that I look back to when God called me. I was recently asked by someone when God called me for duty? I shared with them when but had not thought about it for some time.
God thank you for calling me and may this be for me as it was for Paul the event that I look back to in order to find strength, encouragement and purpose.
