2 Thessalonians 2:13-17 ESV

In this portion of 2 Thessalonians, Paul encourages the struggling believers at Thessolonica that despite the difficult circumstances and persecution they were experiencing, God has not forgotten them or abandoned them. Paul reminds them that God loves them, chose them, has set them apart to Himself, and has called them to experience glory following their suffering. Similarly, through this letter, Paul urges us to be committed to the truth of Christ and not to waiver - allowing Jesus to grow us in our faith so that we can apply what we learn and live the Christian life.
