willing example
When I first read this scripture I am tempted to think that it is only for Pastor’s and church leaders. However I have to argue that God has given influence to everyone over someone such as parents, teachers, brothers, sisters, managers, uncles, aunties and the list goes on and on. And although has called me to Pastor a church and this certainly applies he has also called me as a son an uncle and a friend to others. God wants me to willing watch over the people that He has entrusted in my life. He also never wants me to have wrong intentions in doing so or using my influence to take advantage. His will is for me to simply be a willing example of who He is.
Thank you Lord for reminding me today that you are the great shepherd who allows me to assist in your kingdom of drawing people towards you. You are amazing and even hand out rewards for willing hearts. Help me to be a role model for your kingdom today.
